More crucially, my book has *a lot* of specific locations, and doing justice to most of them on-stage would be prohibitively difficult. Sure, you can do a lot with minimal staging, but the whole point of this is to _immerse_ readers in San Francisco. Not just "San Francisco in general", but lots of *specific, individual* places, both indoor and outdoor. 2/3

A very talented set designer and a crew of dedicated stagehands might be able to make a good stab at changing out the locations fast enough, but I suspect they'd still fall short — and would utterly hate me. 3/3 #WritersCoffeeClub
