#WritersCoffeeClub May 27: Do you read outside of the genre you write?
Sure. I recently read _Treasure Island_, which is pretty far from both "urban" and "fantasy". There's a very brief visit to Bristol, and there are no fantastic elements whatsoever. (Romanticized, sure, but not fantastic.)
(Honestly, I need to read more _inside_ urban fantasy, and especially more recent stuff. I plan to once I finish my draft, while I let it sit for a few months before editing.)

#WritersCoffeeClub May 28: Have you ever regretted cutting a scene? I haven't gotten to the point of cutting anything yet, but I'm quite positive that: 1) I will have to cut at least a few scenes from my WIP (if not entire characters and subplots) 2) I will regret it (even if it makes for a better final product)
