Well guys, the Semifinals of the #faggottourney are over. @adam@podcastindex.social beat @SiRrogueKnight@noauthority.social , in a slow 19-17 match. There's not much to say here; this was absolutely NAS's match, and they had 48 hours to show up in force. It looks like SiRrogueKnight managed to *just barely* lay low enough to keep himself out of the finals this time. It's hard to say that Adam's win here isn't well-deserved; incinerating part of the known fediverse is an EXCELLENT way to burn huge piles of good will. What's of note is the turnout, though; this entire match has turnout comparable to the number of people who voted for SMetzeler in his match. That's right, SMetzeler racked up a TRULY IMPRESSIVE 32 votes in his match against AidanTTIerian, which when compared to the 36 votes this *entire* match got...well, this might well be the first final that we see have a vote gap of more than one! :chinowoah1: If NAS wants to take this trophy home for Adam Curry, they're going to have to beat their war drums a little harder. Maybe they had analysis paralysis here, but I don't think they'll have that for the finals. We'll see what happens on Saturday! And of course, yes, you two get pings again!
