@davidaugust@mastodon.online @SecondUniverse@autistics.life Nah… I say we implement the mythical sacrifice of "the most virtuous (virgin)" to appease "the gods". Every month we kick the most virtuous = wealthy down into an active volcano, in order to appease the god of the economy, the "market". I'm willing to bet that doing so actually had a measurably positive net effect on the economy and societies.
