@stellavie@tech.lgbt How moral it is is not a relevant question in this case (assistive technology) imo. Similarly, whether one should eat meat or not if one has to eat and it's the only thing available. If there is a choice, sure, it'd be good to pick the most moral option. But next to compensating a (temporary, in this case) disability, or eating at all, it's just not that important imo.
