@TrevorGoodchild@poa.st I remember someone once talking to me about health issues they were having, and it got to the point they'd rather be told it was something bad like cancer if it meant they finally knew what the problem was.
(It wasn't, and they eventually got it fixed.)
Knowing what the problem actually is goes a long way, regardless of how severe it is and what you can or cannot do to confront it. It's why Lib-brains are often such nervous psychological wrecks, where much of their "highs" are pharmaceutical or the manic phase of a clinical diagnosis.
