I've done something similar but more incidentally. Hawk attacks used to be a problem here as well but over time that changed and now I regularly witness similar scenes above and around my property with wild birds who see my farm a sanctuary banding together and chasing those niggers away. This comes a handful of years after a hawk killed my favorite hen and I may or may not have committed a serious felony in response the same day.
