@elilla yeah the Circle of Fifths is like, Ancient Greek harmonic studies, it’s a foundational concept of Western music, so it’s kinda baked into everything. The extra bit about how following a circle of perfect fifths doesn’t *quite* get you back to an octave was something we only attempted to account for 5 or 6 centuries ago.
