According to .ml, Chinese workers still own the production through the state. Like, sure, whatever they say. Bad working conditions and low pay is certainly workers being in charge. I think a lot Chinese workers are realising this, so that’s why the CCP is stoking nationalism by claiming and militarised an entire body of ocean to distract the public from domestic issues, which .ml dismiss as nothing. Meanwhile, they go “reeeee” when the US attacked Iran and closed off strait of Hormuz.

Ok I’m gonna play devil’s advocate for the tankies. China made concentration camps for Uyhgurs and planned a cultural genocide by forcing many of them to marry Han Chinese people. BUT there’s cheap housing and renewables are widespread all over the country. You win some, you lose some am I right?

Is China really authoritarian? Like based on what? I mean I’m from a country that has the largest prisoner population of any. Even more than countries with the a much bigger population size like China. We even have legal slavery in prisons. Prisoners here are made to work farms and even fast food restaurants. so maybe I have a high bar for that kind of thing. But every time I hear it I’m like why?
