package arrived from @iFixit, Dell XPS 13 from 2018 repaired. will have to take it on its first coffee-shop excursion in five years to celebrate - tomorrow once it's done a battery calibration cycle. lost 1 case screw on reassembly i didn't think i was ever going to see again, but - shockingly - found it
