@peterbrown@mastodon.scot @jeneralist@mstdn.science Here in Norway they started giving the HPV vaccine to girls in Year 7 from 2009.
Since 2018 it has been part of the standard vaccination package for all children in Norway, that is both boys and girls.
It is good to see some actual research that shows how effective it is.

@the_wub@mastodon.social @peterbrown@mastodon.scot @jeneralist@mstdn.science Currently it's in year 5 here in Sweden. Iirc it took a few years to include boys in it, but that's several years ago now. It is all quite amazing. Scientists working hard, and now we're seeing more and more lives saved.
