Today I walked by a man living on the street with his possessions collected in plastic bags piled up on a shopping cart. As I passed by I saw him kneeling between the cart and an adjacent wall and noticed that he had a pet cat. The cat stepped away from him, he extended his arms and pulled the cat back into his embrace.
