@dmarti@federate.social Why in your opinion are the BSDs not as successful as Linux? Assuredly they are still alive and often the source of good ideas which Linux adopts.

@alison@burningboard.net maybe they are as successful in total, depends how you count Apple Mac OS and iOS? But some developers vanishing behind a corporate firewall can't have helped the non-Apple versions
