It’s not just books. Amazon offers many more goods, and locks people in with Prime.
I don’t like it, but just claiming it as a sign of virtue won’t change that.

True. And although some studies reported a positive effect on companies, I have my doubts based on what I have seen with my eyes in my city. A study issues further concerns: economicliberties.us/…/the-local-harms-of-amazon/
