Eurocentrism is the theory of Europe as an epistemic black hole: absorbing, replacing, & excluding. It isn’t the notion there is something innately wrong with Europeans. Although there are many funny reasons to suspect there is. What’s wrong with being “third world”? In terms of existing happily, quite a bit, but nothing inherent to being from there, rather what has happened there which makes it unlivable. Cultures don’t have innate qualities that get degraded or are always superior to others.
