Redwings like to nest in a stand of tall reeds between the house and the water and get agitated whenever anyone tries to walk on the dock. I haven't been swooped myself, but other members of the family, especially smaller kids, have been.

@idzie@kolektiva.social Haven't been swooped at - but this guy always comes and sits close when I walk my pups at a particular spot. Hard to get a good shot in the shade.

@idzie@kolektiva.social I've been swiped multiple times! The first time I had no idea what happened but since then I've been able to identify it. I think it might be my light colored hair but I have no idea. They don't attack my partner.
