The sold a story thing elides some very specific political context about the Bush administration and its war on public education.
I'm sure its broadly right on reading, but there's a lot of the story missing in terms of why and how things happened as they did.

@celesteh@hachyderm.io there were some Very Very Obvious omissions in its narrative, I presume to broaden its target audience as much as possible
