"The MAGA movement sees itself as representing the "forgotten" citizens: workers, small business owners and voters from deindustrialized heartland states abandoned by coastal elites. Tech billionaires, by contrast, openly anticipate the rise of a semi-permanent underclass as advanced systems eliminate tens of millions of jobs, concentrating wealth and power in the hands of existing capital holders and AI companies.
