They bite and they fly up your nostrils or into your ears and try to get into your eyes and they're generally just extremely obnoxious when you're already dealing with an annoyingly hot and humid day

But they... don't? I get People hating Flies and Gnats... but I met People who hate Ladybugs, Bees and Wasps.
