But as a woman, you don't really know if someone is saying it to everyone or not oftentimes And I'm not some creepy guy's 'love' - it can be so patronising. Cheer up, love. Calm down, love. If you've heard it all your life in less endearing terms, it can be much harder to breeze past or indeed enjoy.
