Vicente Gonzalez Who represents part of the poor-as-fuck Rio Grande Valley. Texas is gerrymandered to hell, and that even means the democrats we get are conservatives. Which is also why you don’t see centrists fighting gerrymandering of red states and why they gave up on gerrymandering Virginia. Centrists like republican districts because they align with centrists’ vision of a fascist future with token minorities in the photos.
