#ScribesAndMakers 14 June Most people [oppose] gatekeeping, but (aside from [keeping out] AI garbage), [should there be] any form of "quality control" [for] self-published work? I have read at least one trad-published recent book by an established author which was, for lack of a better word, crap. Well past just "I didn't like the story". I have read quite a few indie authors' books which have been great. "Quality control" or gatekeeping is clearly not the answer. #WritingCommunity
