Data center construction protests should continue but really we need to stop reacting and start fixing the structural issues. We have to go after Section 230. This rule alone allows for Big Tech. It allows them to build companies that not suited to the communities they harbor. They are no longer choosing just what and who to attenuate and amplify -- they determine what is content. LLM's are the final algorithmic black box. Not because we can't understand them but because they say we can't.

    Yes the internet as we currently have it would have to change. You would need human scale organizations to be able to handle their communities. That's great, anti-fragile with lots of competition. Having rights is hard, it's scary even, but rights come with responsibilities. Keeping this rule in place does more than prevent Big Tech from taking responsibility. It actively harms competition. What has enabled them to grow beyond reasonable scale has allowed them to prevent alternatives.
