#3GoodThings 1. Local creativity. Colorful canvases, notebook designs, jewelry, intricate carvings, hand-painted mugs, all woven together into a tapestry of spoken word poetry. The art admirer becoming the artist becoming the art. 2. Animals. The soft, cinnamon-colored mini goldendoodle trying to climb into my lap. The six or seven small goats eating pellets out of my hand, and determinedly gnawing on my bag and cane. The black, iridescent bird flitting back to us hoping for tortilla scraps. 3. The way my phone says “centered” when the camera finds Spouse’s face. Yes, phone. I am. Cheeeeese! 4. Mocha with lavender syrup. 5.
