@dehaller@infosec.exchange @major@fosstodon.org Fosstodon admins disagree, and I tend to think they are right, that automatic translation is enough to capture subtleties in language that are important for moderation. They also think that moderation is more than just responding to reports, which I think it's also reasonable.
You could disagree with their stance, but it's not unreasonable. If you don't like it, no one's forcing you to use their instance.

@eliocamp@mastodon.social That's fair, and I want to clarify that I am not looking to argue here, just giving my opinion, you are giving yours, we come to the conclusion we do not agree, but it is all good :) I am not in that server, so I don't really mind if they have that rule with its exceptions. It is a choice among others. And I edited to correct a typo, because as usual we also inherited that from Twitter or X, no message without typos 😂 / @major@fosstodon.org
