The other night I was in bed when I heard something at the sliding glass door. I can open the door from bed and since I thought the black cat-sized creature outside was Visiting Cat wanting in, I opened the door. Friends, it was a skunk. I saw the white stripe before the door was way open. I quickly closed the door, but the skunk was already hastening away. But that is how I basically invited a skunk inside.
