It shouldn't irritate me this much when someone says something so confidently and they're just wrong, but it really does. Not like a lie. Surprisingly, that bothers me less. I mean when someone truly believes something they just cooked up in their mind and you already have *mathematical proof* that they're wrong. Like, where does that confidence come from? I legitimately don't get how someone can be so confident about something they clearly don't understand.

    Maybe it's that I've spent so much of my life trying to have correct information about whatever I'm doing. But others have gotten by for a long time by being able to simply say something that sounds smart without a shred of evidence. But whenever someone does this, I need to step away. It's *that* irritating to me.
