@crisps@mastodon.social I think that's part of the problem. We, as a society, have failed to keep up with the rapid development of privacy intrusive billion dollar corporations (and government agencies) who, at their core, exploit human rights, such as the right to privacy. Now the legislative branches and governments are trying to pretend they have a solution to a very difficult problem. This is a double edged sword, to say the least. (IMHO, of course)
