The US is known for over weighing deduction/reduction math - especially in early developmental stages, where multiple choice is forced to single solves. Healthy adults have a range. Most Americans too often seek one point of value, in too many value spaces. So if I'm abusive power, I support the teaching of small value spaces, and take exaggerated value - especially when those children become more singularly productive adults. An overextended #duopoly accentuates the effect, keeping a middle, stabilizing metric further removed.
