@sc_griffith@awful.systems Coincidentally, I was passing Brasilia airport yesterday, and there's a company called "Icarus Aviation". Which I thought was a ... bold ... choice of name. I guess the real innovation we might hope from a company like this is that they make robots that don't break, even when they fall from LEO. 🤣

Obvious grift company aside, take a guess what the Greek air force officially calls their flying officers. Although to be fair being deliberately morbid is a definitely a thing in the military, and the writing on their logo is doric greek for “We’ll do better”.
