Ever lost your phone and been at the mercy of strangers? Yesterday my spouse dropped me off at the airport. My phone had slipped out of my back pocket on the passengers seat, but I didn't find out until I was in the ticketing line. The Delta agent gave me paper tickets, but couldn't offer use of a phone. There are no pay phones in the airport any more. A kind stranger called my wife 4 times, but it was early morning and her phone was still on silent. I couldn't call a cab or an Uber on my own to try to catch up with my spouse. I found a security guard who kindly let me use his old flip phone. Called her several more times, no answer. Finally, I called my own phone, and let it ring and ring, and she finally answered. 15 minutes later, got my phone and an extra hug and kiss. For the rest of the day, I was running on adrenaline. #3GoodThings Got my phone, kind strangers, extra hug and kiss. #technology
