@emd@cosocial.ca We’ve started doing that at our church in Vancouver with areas of grass around the property. West Coast Seeds has some nice wildflower and pollinator friendly seed mixes. We saved ourselves the trouble of digging up the grass by laying down old cardboard boxes and covering them with a layer of dirt. That killed off the grass underneath and gave us a good soil surface for seeding.
