@valkyrie@wandering.shop I'm not entirely sure this is all that practical in compute environment where everything is using the same power source within the same datacenter. BUT....where this would be absolutely BITCHING (and people like Ubiquity would pay you money for) is in a sort of least-cost-routing scenario for networking equipment. The cost for network links is aggregate, and increases per hop. Network kit eats power whether you want it to or not.
