@Lkdc@dmv.community Oh my god. That's an excellent point, and also, seriously? Anagrams? Good grief. I think some people (mainly but not always Americans) tend to assume that everyone of course has the necessary context to understand their posts, which may not even be true of folk LOCAL to them, let alone people from across the globe.

@astronomerritt@hachyderm.io I think that the anagram writer was proud to have come up with clever anagrams, and wanted to share them. I had genuine admiration for her creativity. I just couldn't figure out who the people were. You make a good point about the importance of not assuming that others have the necessary context to understand posts. I try to consciously think about my posts being read by people who don't share my location or interests, but I'm sure that I slip up at times. Anyway, one thing that I haven't done much is include hashtags that will enable people like you to filter out my political commentary, and I'll try to be better about that. Thanks for raising awareness of the importance of enabling filtering.
