@samueljohnson@mstdn.social @matt@oslo.town @aral@mastodon.ar.al So we love them for the little positive effect they have and not hate them for the massive #greenwashing of statistics they are intended for, effectively halving the amount of *seperate* pieces of trash that end up anywhere but the trash? Just asking, guys. Glad we're not stuck on the "I can't drink out of a bottle with these connected caps"-non-issue of the discussion anymore. Wait, looks like we are.

@samueljohnson@mstdn.social @s10n@mastodon.social @matt@oslo.town i confess i don't have enough information here: HOW do they end up on beaches? i hate the things pushing into my face. if i cut the cap off am i non-evil if i ensure it goes into recycling? in which case, i'm in favour of them.
