@Landa@graz.social @b0rk@social.jvns.ca @penguin42@mastodon.org.uk It's not an 'easy' excuse at all. It's a careful, limited use of a tool which I understand. I don't favour use of on-line LLMs using massive amounts of infra and energy. I don't favour using generative models for 'one-shot' solutions to non-existent problems. And I certainly don't think you can replace an engineer with an LLM. But the local models I run are unleaded. They are used sparingly and fed solar power from my roof. I don't need any excuses.

@poetaster@mastodon.gamedev.place Thank you for the response. I edited my toot because thinking about it I felt that it read pretty aggressive which was not my aim. Alas I was too slow. Yes, it looks to me that you are trying to limit the damage as much as possible. @b0rk@social.jvns.ca @penguin42@mastodon.org.uk
