@ripienaar@devco.social i think simon willison's blog https://simonwillison.net/ does a good job of covering the practical perspective though personally I find managing all the various LLM hazards to be very hard and sometimes not worth it and I don't know if I've seen as much about that

    @b0rk@social.jvns.ca @ripienaar@devco.social I think it’s completely fine to avoid if you can’t manage the hazards, that’s just good risk management. I always err on the side of either “easy to verify”, “easy to design guardrails for”, or “low stakes” when I delegate things to it.

    @b0rk@social.jvns.ca @ripienaar@devco.social I've seen two positive stories from what I think are respectable sources: Chris Wellons who I know from r/C_Programming https://nullprogram.com/blog/2026/03/29/ and @adafruit@fosstodon.org whose blog is sadly down because of a C&D letter over reporting of a *negative* aspect, see their profile.
