@Deglassco@mastodon.social Whenever I see pictures like this I feel a tremendous sense of responsibility, not for their troubles, but for their hopes and dreams - for any oppressed and exploited people that lived in the hope that their children, or somebody's children some day, would live in a better world. Mostly, people have lived without seeing much progress - our responsibility is to continue working for it, for them.
