@neuralreckoning@neuromatch.social I think this is the game changer policy which will increase quality of papers.
"What you didn't know is that someone else on this paper at the last minute made some edits to the grammar of the paper using an LLM" - but you use LaTeX for your paper and store in git right? If now how do you make sure your coleagues don't write trash? You review whole paper every day?
I read your arguments and I think example you given is some edge case which probably will never happen.

@neuralreckoning@neuromatch.social 1. Store your papers in LaTeX and git. Version control it. 2. Use references manager like Zotero 3. Never use RTF If you put your name on something in #science field it means you are ready to take consequences for your actions. Hallucinating reference should result in a ban. Idk if arxiv added this policy but I would be glad if they did.
