you saw LLMs being used in medicine almost 15 years ago? was it something else because the the transformer model was [invented in 2017](https://arxiv.org/abs/1706.03762)

LLM technology has existed for decades. It's only recently that it started being hyped by AI bros.

Not LLMs, it was their predecessor neural nets and just language models.
