I understand... :) I'd say: Facebook users have - by being a Facebook user - lost all credibility when it comes to complaining about our current digital world. No matter what exactly. And no matter what fancy internet memes you can figure out. ;) They are part of a major problem before anything else. Sry to say that.

Those are two separate and totally unrelated things. The general acceptance of “AI” and the general acceptance of F***book as the new AOL have plenty in common. It most certainly was a topic, and still is. None of the people I know here on the fediverse thought or think it was OK. And I wholeheartedly don’t agree that it’s “less annoying” - whereas F***book tried to force as many people as possible to use their bull, “AI” is being foisted on us by pretty much every megacorp out there at the same time. It’s super annoying, and it’s even more destructive than F***book.
