@jschauma@mstdn.social Capitalism has trained people that newer is better. I wouldn’t be surprised if people who use these replacements somehow think they’re better.

@AnachronistJohn@zia.io @jschauma@mstdn.social That's exactly like back then, when people abandoned email, websites, sms, etc, and replaced everything by Facebook. For some odd reason, that was just not a topic at all. Basically everyone was fine with it. What was your stance back then? AI stuff is doing more or less the same. It's somewhat less annoying, though, because they don't force their friends to make decisions.
