@chisop@todon.eu Intersex people can have physical characteristics of both male and female bodies. Cosmetic surgery can make the person look like a single sex. The best time to do that is when the person has decided for themself whether they are male or female or both or neither, and whether they actually want surgery (so when they are an older child or teenager or adult). Unfortunately the surgery is often done on a baby. If, for example, the surgery makes the baby look like a girl but he grows up feeling that he's a boy, then that's devastating. @SecondUniverse@autistics.life
