Or a photo of my ID after I physically covered everything but my birth year. Or a short video of my hands holding a note with a specific code given by the verifier. Or a receipt from a recent purchase of alcohol/tobacco. It's just that politicians prefer that I send all my ID info and regular biometric scans to their favorite third parties. Because reasons.
