Is there any alternative tho? Like, how would a normal person get a running and stable system without some kind of distro?

@jcm @vwbusguy@mastodon.online @bookwar@floss.social I'm really wishing great success to GNOME OS and KDE Linux. They aren't distros in traditional sense, since they aren't really distributing anything. These are essentially desktop projects providing their own OS. And that is excellent thing.
