@tris@chaos.social Jokes aside, 1) The purpose of the distribution, among other things, is to be able to sustain the loss of (some of the) upstream. Sometimes by replacing it with the alternative, sometimes by making it possible for others to pick it up, sometimes at least by communicating the change to all impacted. 2) Distribution ISO image in the closet is what you have left once the "digital (cloud) infrastructure" collapses. And it is the thing which you will use to rebuild the rest of it. :)
