since some of you have asked for a pattern - my mum doesnt knit by patterns so she doesnt really know how to write one either; she tried writing some stuff down but it didnt really take any form that would be helpful to anyone but her. shes a sock knitter by heart, so what she made here is essentially a sock with holes. she used 3mm needles and the yarn pictured below. she started with 120 stitches at the top (head side); each piece between the fins starts at a third of that, so 40 stitches. the original inspiration for this project were the photos for this crochet pattern, made for big blåhajar: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1871142791/blahaj-sweater-crochet-pattern there is also this post by @bunthoernchen@chaos.social who knitted a shark sweater as well with a more professional, less socky method :3 https://chaos.social/@bunthoernchen/113402993162784372 i hope this info can be of use to someone wanting to make their own shark clothes
