I mean, that is not really promoting it, nor is the Vatican making it seem like an ethical company. Which is my point, it was a call to beggin a serious conversation, it shouldnt be misconstrued as a tacit endorsement of anthropic, because it isnt

@elkaki@mastodon.online @parismarx@mastodon.online didn't they do some going joint press release PR event? Where the cofounder spoke right after the Pope? How is that not elevating Anthropic? I would not argue that its not tacit its explicitly saying "We the Vatican care about AI being done right. Now here's Anthropic." Why else would they share a stage and do a joint event?
