@kinosian@mastodon.sdf.org @erikMondrian@fosstodon.org Thanks Ruby. So wrapping their minds around adding vs wearing, and changing the order of added clothing & cosmetic elements? I'd have thought repositioning or resizing a hat or something would be more of a showstopper. Or is that it?

@Holocluck@universeodon.com @erikMondrian@fosstodon.org Yeah, adding versus wearing, what attachment points are, replacing their entire avatar with a hat, losing the skin for their ears (this is very common with the new free Legacy avatars) and then figuring out what that even means in order to not have grey ears anymore. Etc. After they get used to things this is all pretty straightforward of course, but for the first few days this is completely mystifying for most new residents.

@Holocluck@universeodon.com @erikMondrian@fosstodon.org When you're thinking about the order of attachments and resizing/repositioning, you're already several levels beyond what the average new resident possibly understands that they can even do. :D
