And here a superior solution, once again from Path of Exile. Golly gee, how come a horde of vidya psychopaths from New Zealand are so much better? They simply used mostly used regions were nothing happened in the first game as setting for the second one. Sure, they could have painstakingly recreated some regions in Lego, and then added changes to the Lego sets before creating the assets. But they didn't. GGG may be crazy, but this doesn't mean they are Kojima autistic too.
